This meal was absolutely outstanding. Chicken marinated in shawarma spices then grilled and wrapped with msemen, Moroccan flatbread.  12/21/20

Shakshuka  So easy, yet healthy and super flavorful. I could easily see this working into a regular dinner rotation. 12/16/20

Philadelphia

  I really just wanted to make cheesesteak. Made the rolls too! For veg we had roasted purple sweet potatoes, which has nothing to do with Philly. 12/10/20

Tibet

  Momos! Are a meal that begs for an exclamation point. This Tibetan specialty is steamed dumplings, filled with tofu, ginger, cabbage, and cilantro. I made the dumpling wrapper and I don't think I will ever buy them again. What a difference. 12/6/20

Bavaria

Chicken schnitzel and schupfnudeln, which are vegan and gluten free "noodles," kind of like gnocchi. Liked it! 12/9/20

 Cheated with store bought green enchilada sauce, and used ground chicken (rather than poached).  12/8/20

Lombardy, Italy

Used turkey stock from post-Thanksgiving for a tasty lemon and cauliflower risotto. We learned that Lombardy is the premier rice growing region in Italy. 11/29/20

Czech Republic

A goulash by any other name, in the Czech Republic, is český guláš. Lots of onion chopping, but otherwise very easy. Loved the paprika and marjoram.   11/23/20
