I really just wanted to make cheesesteak. Made the rolls too! For veg we had roasted purple sweet potatoes, which has nothing to do with Philly.

I ate a bunch of pierogi when I lived in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, but they were nowhere near as good as these. Will make again for sure. 03/08/22
