We spent several hours on our version of the Moroccan classic b'stillas. Filo dough layers wrapped around chicken spiced with ground almonds, cinnamon, ground ginger, and saffron. Sweet and savory, completely one of a kind and out of this world! 1/17/21

This was a pretty boring weeknight chicken dinner. We also had a similar dull Peru chicken dinner which I forgot to photograph.  1/19/21

 Chicken and rice Oh that rice! So similar to the Somali version -- makes sense because the 2 countries are so close. 1/12/21

 Pirozhki (meat stuffed buns) Sour cream went into the dough, which made it soft and lovely.  1/15/21
